Hon Tulfukut is the member representing Billiri West constituency since 2015 and is currently serving as the Minority Whip Chairman House Committee on Information, Culture and Legislative Compliance. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Banganje Primary School in 1981, Bible college Certificate in 1991 and Diploma in Theology1991from ECWA Theological CollegeBilliri and BS Pastoral Theology from ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos in 1998.

As a Seminarist, he served the Church Ministry as a Pastor in various ECWA Churches since 1998. He was the pioneer Vice President of ECWA Theological College, Kogi State in 2000, Chairman of Gombe State Association of Pastors in 2005, a member of the Reconciliation Committee for Gubernatorial Aspirants in 2011and was appointed Chairman, Christian Pilgrims Board from 2007 to 2015.He has proven to be a virtuous Leader haven received about five awards from various organisations to commend his leadership including Award of Excellence as Best Operating Chairman in Leadership by International Tours, Israel in 2011.
