As a man of the people, Hon Ahmadu has been the member representing the people of Nafada North since 2011. He obtained First School Leaving Certificate from Central Primary school Nafada in 1991, Senior School Certificate from Government Secondary School Nafada in 2003 and Diploma from College of Administrative and Business Studies, Kumo in 2009.

He started his political career as the elected Councillor in 2004, he became Caretaker Councillor in 2006 before he was elected a member of the State House.
