Was elected as a Member of the Gombe State House of Assembly representing Kaltungo East in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. He is the chairman House Committee on works and Transport.
He was elected as councillor in 1998, supervisory Councillor for Education.
He attended FederalCollege of Education where he obtains National Certificate in Education.
In 1990 he attended GSSS Billiri where he obtained Senior School Certificate.
