HON. JUSTICE SULAIMAN YAHAYA ABUBAKAR PhD, FCARB. mni– Was born on 10 January, 1965, hails from Gombe local Government, he stated his early education at Jankai primary school, Gombe from 1971 to 1975 and Sa’adu Zungur primary school, Bauchi state from1975 TO 1978 respectively  then Barewa College, Zaria from 1978 to 1983 he proceed to Bayero University, Kano from 1983 to 1988 then Nigerian Law school, Lagos from 1988 to 1989, masters in law from University of Lagos from 1991 to m1992 then PhD IN University of Abuja 2000 to 2009 then lastly National Institute FOR policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos in 2011.

Justice Yahaya Abubakar stared his working career as Lecturer University of Abuja from 1990 to 2000 then Chief Registrar Sharia Court of Appeal, Gombe State from 2000 to 2007 Deputy Director (studies), National Judicial institute, Abuja and rose to the post of Director from 2007 to 2012. He was appointed as Judge at High Court of Justice, Gombe State from 2013 to date
