ADAMU AHMED is a Lecturer with the Department of Sociology, Gombe State University. He was appointed as a Special Assistant on Research and Documentation and later upgraded to Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency on Research, Documentation & ICT in 2020.
Adamu, specialized in criminology; B.Sc. from the University of Maiduguri, M.Sc. from Bayero University Kano, and PhD from University of Ilorin.
He is a member of many professional bodies thus, Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Association (NSAA), Nigerian Criminological Society (NSC).
He participated in numerous Local and National Researches and also publications in the area of Youth and Thuggery, Security and Development, Criminal Justice System Insurgency and Informal Security Groups.
