Mr. Tukur, was born 5th July, 1973 and hails from Gombe L.G.A. He attained his Primary School Leaving Certificate from Central Primary School, Bajoga in 1979. In 1991 he obtained his Secondary school Certificate from Government Secondary School, Dukku. He proceeded to Federal College of Education Technical, Gombe (FCE, T) as secured and NCE Certificate in Economics Education in 1995.
From there he enrolled in Bayero University Kano in 2003 where he obtained his undergraduate certificate in B.Ed. Education Economics.
Mr. Tukur, joined the Local Education Authority in 1997 as the Education Officer on GL. 07 and was promoted to the post of Chief Education Officer on GL.13. From there he rose to the post of Assistant Director in in 2018 and currently serving in the Directorate of, Research, Documentation & ICT to the Executive Governor, Gombe State.
