8the government lately facilitated the grating of Agric loan by Union Bank Plc to One of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) factions for disbursement to a total of 530 cooperatives groups consisting of 7,950 beneficiary members
9Provision of breast cancer test kits by the first lady to all women cooperatives group for early cancer detection
10Successive sponsorship of cooperatives women group to national, regional, and state trade fairs by the first lady Hajiya Adama Ibrahim Dankwambo
11The ministry has 6,607 registered cooperatives societies with an estimated 90,000 membership
12Grants to 1.824 less privileged, widows, Orphans, blinds, Aged, Crippled, Deaf and Dump2015
13Training of 1,026 less privileged in skill acquisitions such as tailoring, carpentry, vulcanizing, knitting, shoe making, barbing saloon, car wash, agricultural enterprises, hair dressing salon.
14Training of its teeming members of cooperative and poverty staff for enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness in their job performance2014
15The ministry also organised workshop for members of its staff on the theme “Raising managerial Capacity building and Monitoring Standard in Cooperative Societies”
16The ministry conducted training for its staff on cooperative data analysis system (CODAS) under which the profiles of 1080 cooperative societies were successfully captured.2016 to 2017
17The ministry with support from the state Government purchased and distributed Economic tree seedlings (Mangoes, Paw-Paw, Orange and Guava) to Cooperative societies in the state, with view to promoting the availability of fruits in the state, thereby enhancing the revenue base of the beneficiary cooperatives societies.
18The ministry has distributed sewing machines, grinding machines, water pumps, sets of barbing kits and cash palliatives to cooperatives societies in the state, this is to improve the economic base of the beneficiary cooperatives societies and promote self reliance in their operations
19The ministry purchased and distributed hybrid seeds of maize, rice, and soya beans to farmer cooperative societies in the state to help boost their agricultural productivity.
